Roos van der Waerden studeerde in 2011 af aan het Conservatorium in de richting MuziekTheater. Sindsdien werkte ze voor theatergezelschappen als Theater Terra en M-Lab, is ze als stemactrice werkzaam voor o.a. Nickelodeon en Disney XD en werkt ze als freelance zangeres voor verschillende projecten. Momenteel tourt Roos internationaal in de rol van Wendy in de voorstelling Peter Pan – The Neverending Story.
Op 14 april 1988 werd Roos geboren te Eindhoven. Ze volgde op jonge leeftijd lessen op de MusicAllFactory en daarna zanglessen bij Ingrid Zeegers.
Op het Conservatorium kreeg Roos zangles van Antoinette Kouwenberg en Leo van der Plas, acteer- en interpretatie lessen van oa. Marleen van der Loo en Miriam Luyten en masterclasses van oa. Steve Balsamo en Pia Douwes. Tijdens haar studie deed ze vele verschillende shows in de Efteling en in haar laatste jaar liep ze stage bij o.a. M-Lab. In 2011 studeert ze af in de rol van Annabelle Glick in ‘Lucky Stiff’ onder regie van Victor van Swaay.
Na haar afstuderen is Roos freelance werkzaam als zangeres, stemactrice en theaterperformer. Uitvoerend is ze te zien geweest in ‘Gebroeders Leeuwenhart’ en ‘Koning van Katoren’ van Theater Terra en is ze o.a. te horen als de Nederlandse stem van Barbie en in vele verschillende series voor Disney XD en Nickelodeon. Daarnaast presenteerde ze het genomineerde Sinterklaasprogramma ‘Studio Pepernoot’ en ook richtte ze met Conservatorium vriendinnen de internationale vocal-group ‘The Triolettes‘ op. Momenteel tourt Roos in de rol van Wendy over de wereld in de voorstelling Peter Pan – The Neverending Story.
